- Time-based professional services that cannot be "returned" in a traditional sense
Due to the bespoke nature of our work, our return policy differs from standard product returns. This policy outlines how we handle cancellations, refunds, and project modifications.
2. Deposit and Payment Structure
Initial Deposit
Most projects require an initial deposit before work commences. This deposit:
- Secures your project slot in our development schedule
- Covers initial consultation, planning, and design work
- Is typically 30-50% of the total project cost
- Is non-refundable once work begins
Progress Payments
Larger projects may include milestone-based payments. These payments are due upon completion of agreed project stages and become non-refundable once the corresponding work is delivered and approved.
3. Cancellation Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellation
If you need to cancel your project, the following terms apply:
Before Work Begins:
If you cancel before we start any work on your project, you will receive a full refund of your deposit minus a 10% administrative fee to cover consultation time and scheduling costs.
During Design Phase:
If you cancel during the design phase, you will be charged for all design work completed up to the cancellation point. Any remaining deposit will be refunded after deducting completed work costs.
During Development Phase:
If you cancel during active development, you will be charged for all work completed, including design, development, and project management hours. You will receive deliverables for all paid work upon final settlement.
Classicroomart-Initiated Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel a project if:
- Payment terms are not met according to the agreed schedule
- Required materials or feedback are not provided within reasonable timeframes
- The project scope changes significantly from the original agreement
- Professional standards or ethical guidelines would be compromised
In such cases, you will receive completed work deliverables and a refund for any work not yet performed, minus amounts owed for completed work.
4. Refund Eligibility
Situations Eligible for Refund Consideration
- Undelivered Services: If we fail to deliver agreed services within the specified timeline without valid reason
- Technical Failures: If delivered work contains significant technical issues that cannot be resolved
- Misrepresentation: If our services materially differ from what was agreed in the contract
- Early Cancellation: As outlined in our cancellation policy above
Situations Not Eligible for Refunds
- Change of mind after approving design concepts or development work
- Delays caused by client failure to provide required materials or feedback
- Subjective dissatisfaction with approved work that meets agreed specifications
- Work completed according to agreed scope and specifications
- Third-party costs (hosting, domains, licenses) already incurred
5. Revision and Modification Policy
We believe in getting your project right. Our standard packages include:
- Design Phase: Up to 3 rounds of revisions on initial design concepts
- Development Phase: Reasonable adjustments to implement approved designs
- Post-Launch: Bug fixes and technical issues addressed within support period
Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur additional fees based on our current hourly rates. Major scope changes require contract amendments and adjusted pricing.
6. Refund Request Process
To request a refund or cancellation:

- Review Period: We will review your request within 5 business days and respond with our decision
- Settlement: If approved, we will calculate any amounts owed for completed work
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method
- Work Transfer: You will receive all completed and paid-for work files upon final settlement
7. Dispute Resolution
We're committed to resolving any concerns amicably. If you're dissatisfied with any aspect of our service:

- Step 2: If unresolved, escalate to senior management via email
- Step 3: We'll schedule a meeting to understand issues and propose solutions
- Step 4: If agreement cannot be reached, we'll explore mediation or other resolution methods
Most concerns are resolved through open communication before reaching formal dispute processes.
8. Post-Launch Support
All packages include a defined support period after launch:
- Starter Package: 2 weeks of post-launch support
- Professional Package: 4 weeks of post-launch support
- Enterprise Package: 3 months of priority support
During this period, we address technical issues, bugs, and provide assistance at no additional charge. After the support period, ongoing maintenance is available through separate service agreements.
9. Third-Party Services and Costs
Some projects involve third-party services or purchases:
- Domain name registrations
- Web hosting services
- Premium fonts or stock images
- Software licenses or subscriptions
These costs are typically billed separately and are subject to the providers' own refund policies. We cannot refund third-party expenses once services are activated or purchases are made.
